Miriam Höller nach Stunt-Unfall: “Joggen funktioniert nicht mehr”

In 2016, Miriam Höller experienced two devastating events: a helicopter stunt gone wrong left her with broken feet, ending her career as a stuntwoman, and shortly after, her partner Hannes Arch died in a helicopter crash. In her book “Das Leben ist ungerecht: Und das ist gut so,” Höller recounts her journey of recovery and reflection.

In an interview with spot on news, Höller, a former “Germany’s next Topmodel” contestant, discussed the distance she now feels from her late partner and her new relationship with chef Roland Trettl. Höller describes her book as a therapeutic project, combining past experiences with her current reflections and lessons, marking a closure of past traumas.

Recovery was challenging, and it took her seven years to find peace. Throughout her journey, Höller encountered suicidal thoughts but learned the importance of support networks and professional guidance. Her path to healing involved combatting feelings of bitterness and finding personal growth and value in her suffering.

Today, after her accident, she has not regained her former physical capabilities, such as jogging, but embraces personal transformation and encourages others to find beauty amidst hardship. Höller looks to the future with optimism, having found a sense of strength and appreciation for life through adversity, symbolizing a shift in her outlook from before the tragedies.
